【贈賞理由】
琉球王国の士族文化として発展した琉球古典音楽、歌三線の伝統は、現在も幾つかの流派に分かれて伝承されているが、認知度が低く担い手も限られている。そのような状況下、受賞者は卓越した古典の技術と表現力に加え、明確なビジョンを持ち、琉球古典音楽の魅力を世界に広く伝えていこうとする姿勢が顕著であることから、今後の活躍が期待される。
【プロフィール】
田渕愛子（たぶちあいこ）
2001年4月照喜名朝一に入門。2004年3月沖縄県立芸術大学大学院音楽芸術研究科修了。2010年5月琉球古典音楽安冨祖流絃聲会師範免許取得。2015年１月田渕愛子三線教室開設。2019年 国立台北藝術大学伝統音楽系非常勤講師。沖縄伝統音楽安冨祖流伝承者。琉球舞踊保存会伝承者

TABUCHI Aiko (Ryukyuan Classical Music)
Reasons for the award:
Ryukyuan classical music, including the tradition of singing with the Sanshin, developed as part of the Ryukyu Kingdom’s nobility culture. Today, it continues to be passed down through several distinct schools, though public awareness remains limited and there are only a few active practitioners. In this context, the award winner stands out not only for her exceptional classical technique and expressive ability, but also for her clear vision and strong commitment to sharing the unique beauty of Ryukyuan classical music with audiences around the world. Her dedication is truly remarkable, and her future contributions are eagerly anticipated.
Profile:
In April 2001, began apprenticeship under TERUKINA Choichi.
Completed the Graduate School of Music Arts at Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts in March 2004. Obtained instructor certification from the Ryukyuan Classical Music Afuso-ryu Genseikai in May 2010. Established the Aiko Tabuchi Sanshin School in January 2015.
Appointed as a part-time lecturer in the Department of Traditional Music at Taipei National University of the Arts in 2019. Certified successor of the Afuso-ryu school of Okinawan traditional music. Recognized successor by the Ryukyuan Dance Preservation Society.

May 2009: Appeared in the National Theatre Okinawa’s special program “Women Musicians’ Gathering – Uta Aisha” (Jiutai: “Mutunuchibana”, Solo: “Asobishongane”)
March 2012: Performed in the National Theatre Okinawa’s Sanshin concert “The Beauty of Afuso-ryu” (Solo: “Shirutuya-bushi”)
January 2014: Participated in the 10th Anniversary Commemorative Performance of the National Theatre Okinawa “Today’s Pride”
May 2016: Performed in the National Theatre Okinawa’s Sanshin concert “Women Musicians’ Gathering” (Solo: “Hishi-bushi”, Jiutai: “Hachimūchī”)
August 2016: Provided music for the film “Zanpa” (Jiutai Solo: “Hanafu”)
June 2019: Sang “Sanyama-bushi” at the Okinawa All War Dead Memorial Ceremony Eve Festival
February 2023: Performed “Sanyama-bushi” solo in the National Theatre Okinawa’s Sanshin concert “The Beauty of Classical Music”
